"Ritual cuts through and operates on everything besides the "head" level." ~ Aiden Kelly
Is it possible for God to hear all of our prayers? Think about it. There are almost 8 billion people in the world who petition the Divine at any given moment. Granted, some people pray to Jesus, some Allah, Buddha, or others. But at the end of the day, all are petitioning the same Source of all that is. So, is it really possible, or better yet, necessary for God to hear all of our prayers?
Even people in the spiritual community who love sage, crystals, candles, herbs, and all the ways and rituals through which we communicate with Spirit. That's petitioning or praying to God or Spirit, right? That's a lot of requests with which to keep up, even for a God. Then everybody has their rules so that even further complicates the mix. Imagine having all of these requests and a checklist for each and then making sure they prayed or attended church the appropriate amount of times, or making sure the color of the candle, the scent of incense, and the crystal combination were sufficient enough to fulfill the request. Sounds exhausting.
Quite honestly, Source is too intelligent for that.
Quite honestly, Source is too intelligent for that. It doesn't need all of these rules and regulations. Spirit takes no pleasure in making sure your offering is better than the other or in making us jump through any hoops. A God who thinks like that would be pretty sadistic. That sounds more like a human trait and must be where humanity gets the idea of a punishing God, heaven, hell, etc. Instead, Supreme Intelligence put laws in place that apply equally to everyone.
Instead, Supreme Intelligence put laws in place that apply equally to everyone.
For example, you're not permanently down on your luck (unless you believe yourself to be). The principle of rhythm applies to everyone. Sometimes you're up, and sometimes you're down. Not having success in relationships? Maybe it's a lack of respect for commitment or yourself; that's the principle of cause and effect. Trying too hard and things not working could be an overabundance of masculine energy, violating the principle of gender. Relax into the feminine and receive. Are intended manifestations, or prayers, not coming to fruition? Then you must not be vibrating with what it is that you want, violating the principle of vibration. Or, as it's more famously known, the mysterious law of attraction.
So then, your prayers aren't really for God, even though you intend them to be. Neither are your rituals. God is not in the sky waiting for you to kneel five times a day to pray. He could care less if you took the communion and drank the grape juice, nor is He waiting for you to light three more white sage and six more palo santo sticks before answering your request. Spirit doesn't ascribe to any religious dogma or how ceremoniously you perform your ritual.
God, Spirit, Jesus, Allah, Buddah are all different names for consciousness or creative life force energy.
God, Spirit, Jesus, Allah, Buddah are all different names for consciousness or creative life force energy. We are each individuations made in the image of that same potent and creative life force energy. We create by aligning that same creative life force energy with what we want to create, or are requesting with our "prayers and rituals." We create by connecting with the Divinity within us and aligning our energy with the energy of what we want. If you're not convinced, then consider the following quotes:
"And provides for him from where he does not reckon. Whoever puts his trust in God, He is sufficient for him (for all his needs). God surely executes what He decrees; assuredly, God has appointed a measure for everything." - Surah At-Talaq-3
"And Jesus answered them, "Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' it will happen." - Matthew 21:21
"But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind." - James 1:6
"That person, who desires for objects of pleasures, by contemplating on their properties, gets born, along with his desires, among those objects of pleasures" -translation from Mundaka Upanishad, Mundakopanishad 3.2.3
"When you stay on purpose and refuse to be discouraged by fear, you align with the infinite self, in which all possibilities exist." - Wayne Dyer
Even quantum physics is now beginning to prove that all possibilities exist simultaneously.
Even quantum physics is now beginning to prove that all possibilities exist simultaneously. It's by applying our conscious awareness or aligning our life force energy with a specific possibility that allows the desired manifestation to come about, a concept better known as the principle of mentalism.
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
God or consciousness didn't say, let me create this light. There was no need for Him to make the light. It already existed in the realm of all possibilities. He just brought His conscious awareness to it and let it be.
He just brought His conscious awareness to it and let it be.
So, outside of just wanting to honor or be in the presence of God, which you can do through meditation, our rituals and prayers aren't really for God regardless of our intention; they are for us. They are our mortal and futile attempts at moving a God, or creative life force energy that has repeatedly said that your will is already done through multiple religious texts and ascended masters throughout history. So, even though we think we're petitioning God through prayer and ritual, what we're really doing is psychologically aligning our consciousness, awareness, and energy with the possibility of receiving what we're asking. But God said it's already done. You just have to apply the principle of mentalism, hold it in your mind's eye, wholly align yourself with what you want, and then apply the law of cause and effect to take the appropriate action. Faith without works is dead.
"Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe."
~ Saint Augustine
